For the price, nothing can beat this cassette adapter, the sound quality is clear and crisp, i have had no problems with it in 2 weeks of usage daily.
Only drawback is in some cassette players, it makes a clicking sound which can be annoying. but this can be solved by simply turning the adapter over.

I ordered this cassette adapter to replace one where the wires are starting to show. I have since went back to my old cassette adapter because the sound quality on this adapter is not very good. When I first put the adapter in my tape deck, I noticed that it rattled a little bit. I didn't really think too much of it, but when I started the first song, I noticed that there was some static in the background. I turned up the music and noticed that the vocals sounded slightly muffled and there was no bass. I tried several different songs over the course of about a week, but they all seemed about the same. I'm not sure if I just got a dud or not because most other people seem to love the sound quality on this.

The product does what is says. My only problem was a lack of reception in certain areas. The MP3 player I have has limited range, apparently, so reception was spotty. I can use it for stored music, which is great.

I thought, for the price, that this would be faulty or have bad sound quality. Nope. Works great. Much clearer sound than I would have expected. If you want this, get it here. Don't pay 25 bucks at Best Buy.

The first problem encountered was that when you eject the adapter, and because the wire attaching the plug is located on the side of the adapter and not the back, the adapter would catch in, and jam in the player. I remedied this by taping the wire so that it was tight against the side and re-routed to the back (player open side).
Lately I notice the skipping (drop outs of sound) which I can only surmise is the result of a faulty contact with the player's head. I intend to trouble-shoot this problem by re-cleaning the player's heads. If that corrects the problem, then it would not be the adapter, but the player.
